The Digital Health & Wellbeing Center (DHWB) of Fondazione Bruno Kessler promotes research, innovation, and technology transfer for equitable, sustainable, safe, and truly person-centered digital healthcare. The Center designs, develops, and validates digital technologies and artificial intelligence solutions for health that are scientifically sound, clinically relevant, understandable, controllable, and evaluable over time.
DHWB works across an integrated innovation chain connecting scientific research, co-design with professionals, patients, and institutions, controlled experimentation, field validation, and transfer towards adoptable services and solutions. Its aim is not to introduce technology for its own sake, but to generate evidence of clinical, organizational, and social value while protecting fundamental rights, safety in use, and the long-term sustainability of healthcare systems.
